Party Rental FAQ's

How long is my party rental?
All of The Great American Party Rentals are for a FULL DAY! (up to 8 hours).  We will delivery your equipment before your party starts and pick up after it’s over.  We only rent our equipment once per day, so it’s yours for as long as you need it.  

Why do I have to rent for a whole day when I only need it 2 or 3 hours?
We have found that almost all our customers need their equipment longer than expected.  The party started later or guests showed up late and/or did not get to use the bounce as much as they would have liked.  It is very rare that we come to pick up a bounce after an 8 hour rental and it’s not being used till the last minute!  Having your bounce being setup or taken down in front of your party guests can be inconvenient and stressful if the company you hired hasn’t arrived on time.

What are your delivery rates?
The Great American Party Company is pleased to serve NJ, NY, PA, DE.  We offer FREE delivery/pickup within a 20 mile radius of our main office in Williamstown, NJ. ($100 Minimum)  Each additional mile is $1.50.  $25 Surcharge for PA, $50 Surcharge for NY, $20 Surcharge for DE.

 Feel free to call us for a delivery quote.  To estimate your delivery fee yourself, go to www.mapquest.com or comparable mapping service, click on driving directions, in the FROM: section, enter zip code 08094, in the TO: section, enter the delivery address.  Click “GET DIRECTIONS”.  The following page will have directions along with the total miles.  Take the total miles and double it (delivery & pickup).  Up to 40 miles is free (20 miles for Delivery, 20 miles for Pickup).  If your total miles are 30, then you double it (delivery & pickup) for a total of 60 miles.  You would subtract the 40 free miles, and multiply the remaining 20 miles by $1.50.  Your delivery fee would be $30.

Do you provide attendants?
Our prices do not include attendants.  Moonbounce attendants, food attendants, and general attendants are available upon request.  Attendants start at $20/Hr and instead of getting your equipment all day, you get it for the number of hours you hire the attendant.  For example a four hour attendant rental would cost the regular rental price plus the cost of the attendant.  We arrive 30min-1hr prior to the start time to get set up.

 

Can I pick my Moonbounce up?
No.  Moonwalks / inflatables are heavy, bulky, and awkward to move and setup.  They require proper securing, either with stakes or sandbags and there are state-regulated requirements on how to secure the unit.  For safety reasons, our trained staff are the only ones that can setup or breakdown the equipment.  This insures that everything is always set up correctly and safe for you and your guests to use.

Can you set up a moonbounce on cement?
Yes.  The moonbounce will be secured with sand bags rather than stakes.  However, it is recommended that the moonbounce be set up on grass whenever possible.  There is an additional fee for hard surface setups.

What happens if the forecast calls for rain the day of my event?
When you reserve your moonbounce, you must provide us with a non-refundable deposit.  However, as long as you contact us prior to your scheduled delivery to cancel, you are allowed to reschedule your rental for up to one year without penalty.  Basically, we just re-apply your deposit to your next party date.  It is actually very rare that we have cancellations.  Most of the time, even if the forecast calls for rain, it will not rain the entire day.  Only if the day is going to be a complete washout do we recommend rescheduling.

Is your equipment cleaned regularly?
All of our equipment is cleaned and sanitized with Lysol disinfectant between each rental.

Yes!  We do have party packages and can also customize a package to fit your needs.
